Leaking propane tank regulator

I have a 2012 Georgetown 337. I have had the propane regulator start leaking 2 times in the last month. Replaced with new one. Regulator is a GR 9955.

The new ones do the same thing. Anyone else had this issue. Suggestions??

Where does the regulator leak? Fittings or body of regulator? Mine leaked on the body of the regulator. I pressed dealer to replace it. There is a vent on the face of the regulator. However, mine was definitely a failure and not the vent.

Might want to make a trip to a local LP dealer to discuss the issue, as two back to back leaks seems unusual.

It has leaked on the body of the regulator both times. One what I would call the seam.

I talked with the LP dealer and the think it is because it is regid mounted. ???

They want to install the next one and look everything over.

Thanks for the reply.

It's a chore to transport your RV there, but you want the problem solved and the danger gone. Mine is rigid mounted (typical I believe) I don't see a problem with that especially since all the gas hook ups are flexible lines--but let them decide. Generally, RV forums have some chatter about regulators leaking. Maybe design or quality control.
