Low Water Pressure

We have a DR 3170DS, and are camped at a nice location, but at the end of the park. Water pressure is a bit low connected to city water. We haven't used our on board water tank, but a neighbor suggested that we fill it, turn on the water pump and it will augment the shower pressure combined with the city water. Is this so? Any problem leaving the water pump on along with the city water? Will the water pump sense that the city water is on and automatically shut off the water pump? Any enlightenment to this situation is appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure about leaving the City water hooked up and using the pump at the same time. A check valve will keep the city water fro,m back flushing the tank. I have filled my tank and used that for pressure when in a low city water situation.

If the city W/P is that Low fill your Tank and use your Pump! You gain Nothing by leaving the City water connected! You could have a Pressure tank installed in your Sunseeker 3-5 Gal. and on Pump you would have smooth/even water pressure just like in a House! And the pump wont come on/off every time you use your F/W system! Youroo!!

We were in a CG in WV last year like that, filled FW tank and used both. No problem. Like using Electric/ Gas same time for shower!
