Every unit has different locations for things like paper towel holders so without knowing what unit you have, it will be hard to make suggestions. It's always best to include that information in your post or add it to your signature. You'll get better answers and feedback.

Screwing things to the exterior walls can be done but keep in mind, the walls are thin and the inside luan (lauan) board even thinner. We simply bought a paper towel holder that sits on the counter. (upright) We can take it outside if necessary (to the picnic table) or relocate to a closer counter area where we happen to be preparing things. Many fasten holders to the bottom of cabinets where there is more substantial support.

Best of luck finding your spot.

My husband has some sort of phobia about screwing stuff to a wall or cabinet, especially in the trailer. I used a stand-up paper towel holder that stays on the countertop and can be moved to the table, outside or wherever I need it. I store it in a cabinet for travel.

I put ours on the inside of a cabinet door under our island sink - taking care not to drive screws through the wood to the outside.

I put mine in a convenient location on the side of the cabinet over the sink. It's out of the way, but easy to reach.

Haha I have the same phobia. We've never even hung the toilet paper in any of our RVs! We just put paper towels in the cupboard.

I bought these from HF, spray painted them black, and stuck them on the side of my exhaust hood. https://www.harborfreight.com/magnet...der-69321.html

We agree with those who are reluctant to drill holes into their cabinets...the towels just stand up in the countertop.

Our paper towel holder hangs on a door under our kitchen counter with towels inside the cabinet. Works great.

I had a coffee area in my Fifth Wheel so I took a spring rod through the paper towel and put it above the coffeemaker. Was handy. Warning though when ready to move move the rod up so that the towels are secure. Or you will have a nice pile of paper towels when you get to your destination!

I made a simple one from some scrap wood and stained it to match my cabinetry and hung it above the sink perpendicular to the wall.
