Post trip patio mat storage
A neat trick I saw out last time. As is our luck we had 3 days of perfect weather only to end up with torrential down pours on the last day during the process of striking camp. Our patio mat was full of mud and what not and was completly unfit to store inside the camper and everything else was thrown into the truck just to get the site picked up quickly.
What I saw on that trip on another camper leaving at the same time worked out great. They rolled up the patio mat nice and tight and bungied it to the rear bumper. The mat is 9' wide and the camper is 8' is wide leaving only 6" hanging over the sides unprotected. It worked out great and gave me a frame of reference for passing others on the highway to make sure I was fully in front of them. When the weather broke that evening (we wern't far from home) we pulled the mat up and cleaned it properly so it could be stored again.
Just thought this solution might help someone else out and maybe save some storage space cleaning time.
