The refrigerator check light came on while the unit was plugged in. Pushed the button and it seemed to reset but came back on within 30 minutes. Switched to gas and it was fine all weekend. switched back to electric and after a short while it came on. put back on gas and same thing it came on after a short while. Anyone have any clue or suggestions?
When you are on electric, do you turn off the propane?
The check light means it is trying to switch to propane and when it calls for "cold" the flame is trying to light. It "should" go out once the flame lights.
If it stays on more than a minute, the light attempts (3) were not successful and you need to troubleshoot the propane side of your fridge.
Try pressing the stack "over temperature" thermal breaker.
