Replace Dining Table in Slide Out

I have a 2104S mini lite and would like to replace the fold up table with a pedestal mount. Since it would be mounted on the floor of the slide will this work? Has anyone tried it?

I did that mod on my old Class A what I found was because of the limited depth of the slide floor and short fasteners needed I had to utilize two pedestals spaced at 1/3 intervals to provide proper support good luck

We a 5th wheel that came with a pedestal table. The table made it through the walk thru but by the time got home (30 miles) it had tipped over! After the usual run around & replacement process I built my own table. I attached one end to the slide out wall with a single post leg on the other end. Just to kick things up a bit I added a butterfly extension. Our table now extends out to 60" for friends & family.

Our pedestal table has D rings screwed into the floor, one for each leg of the pedestal, then light weight cinch straps to strap the legs to the floor. Came from the factory that way. This method allows the table to be moved when unstrapped. Sorry, no picture as the unit is in storage.
