roof ladder capacity 300 lbs.

I suppose this is as good as place as any to post this.

while I was enginering a "towel rack" on the back of my sabre I happened to notice down at the very bottom of the ladder pipe there was a small sticker that gave the weight capacity.

on my 2011 sabre 32bhok-6 the capacity of the roof ladder is "300" lbs.

just an fyi

Mine says the same. Makes me feel like it might be OK to hang a bike off of it with it being rated so high??

As long as it has NO WAY to bounce you might be fine. Your results may vary.

First thing I noticed on our ladder, weight limits, at the time when we bought our Sabre, I was pushing 300lbs at that time.
Since there wasn't a 350lb capacity ladder, I did the next logical thing...got my weight down to 250!
Now I'm up & down that ladder like a squirrel & mpg's looking better! LOL

Ours says same, spoke with our dealer, who said in no way shape or form should you hang anything off the ladder while you are moving. Any damage will not be covered by warranty, and damage from swaying and bouncing bikes is very likely.

When I checked with my dealer they said it should be fine as long as bikes were secured tightly. They said the bumper is only rated for 300-350 llbs also. So 6 of 1 half dozen of another I guess..
