Solar Panel Mounting

We have a Micro Lite 21DS 2015 that I’m planning to install solar. Looking for the best methods for mounting. I think it has a membrane type roof. From what I’m hearing most people are recommending not to use the adhesive mounts on a membrane roof. I believe I can mount them and protect against leaking but my concern is how screws in the roof would impact future value. Probably not a big deal since it is a 2015 not a new unit.

Thoughts?

I used the Z brackets with butyl tape under each bracket against the roof. As extra protection I put a piece of Eternabond tape over the brackets too.

I used AM Solar tiltable brackets. VHB underneath, then course thread #8 screws but don't strip them then self leveling sealant. 12,000 miles later and still thought to the roof. Some screws hit the roof trusses but most are just into the luan.

I used something like these:

to mount a solar panel to the roof of our Roo. I've also seen them labelled well nuts. I also glued the nuts in since I didn't trust them in styrofoam. I used the Z brackets from Renology (and their panel). I oriented it with the short sides front and back. I sealed with dicor and covered with eternabond. It has been up there three seasons with no issues yet.
I would expect the presence of the solar panel would offset any loss from extra holes in the roof since I won't be keeping it when we move on from this Roo.

I did 2 campers with eternabond under the z bracket, screws through the z bracket and dicor to seal the screws on top of the z bracket.

I’ve also used the mounts from AM Solar. They have been in the solar business for decades, have tones of videos worthy of spending some time checking out. Here is a link to their Mounts which has some videos when you scroll down.
