Stink Bugs!

I have a 2011 Lexington and having a stink bug issue, I have tried bug bombs (twice) and several other home remedies but no luck, can't locate a nest area but they continue to return and I don't think they are coming from outside.

we are going on a road trip soon and it is driving my wife crazy

any ideas?

If you can find one of their trails, put down a bit of "food grade" Diatomaceous earth and let them crawl on it and take it back to their nest.

It's non toxic to people but try not to breath it. Exposure to moisture decreases its effectiveness, so you might have to reapply frequently.

They take it back to their nest on their feet and it dehydrates them to death.

Stink bugs lay eggs on house plants that have been left outside. When you bring in the plants, the eggs hatch and you have tons of the pests. Have you put a house plant in your camper? If so, that's where they are coming from. They don't "nest" in hidden places like ants etc. but can hatch from the plans over weeks inside. I once saw a hospital that was covered up with the bugs from all the flowers and plants brought in to patients.

House plants need to be treated with insecticide soap in the fall when you bring them inside. That will cut down on the infestations. Of course, they can just be coming in openings, open doors and windows, etc.

We find a Dust-Buster to be the best tool to collect them without enduring the odor.

Inlaws had them real bad last year, Drove Mom crazy. Dad got a Ozone Generator and that did the trick. Only problem after that was dead ones coming out of AC Ducts. You need to be careful because it will kill anything in the coach so make sure no pets or people are in it when you run the machine.
Hopefully this helps.
