Tip for winterization

I got a quick disconnect blowout plug for RV vrs. “ Standard Air Valve Plug”. I mentioned to the Camping Service owner, of my plans, to put a water pressure regulator, between RV and blowout plug. Electric Air compressors have pressure cutoff point.....but I don’t trust them. Don’t want to over pressurize RV water lines.

Seems like overkill to me. I'm not even 100% sure that a regulator designed for water will lower the air pressure?

The numbers people suggest setting your regulator to vary wildly. I've seen anywhere between 20 and 60 PSI. I usually go around 40 or 45. Even if your gauge is off slightly, you'll probably be fine.

I've honestly never heard of anyone cracking a line by over-pressurizing it with air. I'm pretty sure most Pex lines are rated for over 100 PSI.
