Travel thru Nebraska

Travel thru Nebraska is difficult at this time. East/West on I-80 is in good condition. Travel North/South along I-29 is inaccessible from St. Joseph MO. to Missouri Valley IA. Travel in Northwest area from Omaha is still difficult at this time as many main roads sustained heavy damage from the flooding along the Niobrara, Elkhorn, Platte and Missouri rivers. If planning any travel in Nebraska....primarily the Eastern half, I'd advise you checkout NEDOT 511 travel information before proceeding. Parts of I-29 may be inaccessible for months or longer as entire sections have been completely washed away by the Missouri river. As large agricultural areas have been impacted, along with large areas of rail transportation, we'll probably see increases in prices in the near future.
