TV Popping Out of Holder

Got a Flagstaff 832 Ikbs. The bracket that holds 42" TV keeps releasing the TV while traveling. I found some self-sticking sandpaper and wrapped the round rubber deal that slides into a "rubber" deal that's supposed to hold the TV in place while traveling BUT that didn't work. Though about screwing two hooks on each of the TV stretching budge cord. Anyone else having this issue - how did you fix it?

Maybe try Museum Putty. It's supposed to hold even in an earthquake.
It works for items in our rig, but don't know if it will hold the weight.

When I installed TVs on a wall mount for friends, I also installed strap loops and used a nylon strap/buckle to secure the TV while traveling. So far so good.

Just starting to have the same problem. Considering using some heavy duty Velcro somewhere it can be out of sight when not traveling.

one of the bungee cords with a hook on each end, inexpensive and versatile ... should be easy to attach for travel and just as easy to remove for use, ...

Guess I could put the hooks inside the TV nook, kind out of sight and do the bunge cord and maybe put a towel under the bunge cord to protect the screen. Great idea. Thanks

Strange that the locks are rubber. All of the TV mounts we have had the locks are metal and have pull cord to release. Camping work has several examples.
