I do this with black pipe isolation found at big box store, its not as thick as pool noodle, its pre slit down middle and I think 1" fits the wipers. Get the foam and not the rubber.

Lots of good ideas but why do you need to cover the wiper arms?

Not the arms, but the rubber blades. This keeps them from drying out and cracking from exposure....on motorhomes that sit outside a lot. You can even order special covers for the blades that do the same.

I had not thought of that as mine is a trailer. Smart.

Cut up one long one and use it for several things:
One piece in microwave to keep glass turn table still
One piece on edge of wall mounted TV where it can rub against a cabinet.
One piece on fridge to hold door open better than those clips.
One piece slivered up and bent to separate whiskey bottles in a bin so they don't clank on each other (priorities!)

I like to decorate my campsites with string lights. To store them all tangle free I cut down pool noodles and wrap each of my outdoor light strands around one section of shorter noodle. One for each string.

Use your noodle

I use them as added support for slide toppers during heavy rains

Things I've used them for so far:

1. In microwave as described above
2. In old camper, I stuffed them in the bedroom sliding door tracks just in case the weak plastic door snaps failed going down the road. Kept the doors open.
3. Bottom of chairs to give padding for my ankles
4. Put on door side slideout corners so the awning won't get ripped on the corners if it rains or the wind blows.
5. Took an old laundry basket to put over the antenna when I put the cover on. Noodles on the edges of the basket to keep the roof safe.
6. Over gutters to keep cover from ripping.
7. At home, I have a large closet with a low ceiling that starts about 2 feet from the door. I put one on the ceiling edge to protect my forehead.

Slide them on the gunwales of our canoe for a super cheap carrier pad.

Ditto. Our fairly new, I think 3 winters now old, Adco designer series MH cover comes with mittens for the downspouts. They tie on. I noticed though that 1 still was poking a point through and I took an old leather glove and used it as a secondary mitten, tying it on with twine. All my downspouts have slightly different exposures, ie some protrusions are more protected by awning arms and slide out toppers.
