Cool Use your noodle

I have found some good pool noodle RV uses on this forum, but they are scattered. The BEST for me was putting a piece of one in the stove fan cover on the outside (for those who can reach theirs) to keep that baby quiet. I had tried other things, but this worked wonders! Any other ah-ha noodle moments out there that could be shared in one thread? Just trying to help.

I cut one up to use on dinette chairs to keep them from rubbing going down the road. Many use the noodles on bedroom slide corners to pad when they hit their head.

Cut one to wedge vertically in the microwave between the glass platter and the top to keep the platter from bouncing around.

One on each end of the slide, awning arms so I do not hit my head, stuffed at the top of the bed to lengthen for my 6'3" of awesomeness... LOL

I love finding uses for pool noodles.

When I had a MH, when sitting, I used a pool noodle, cut to length and covered the wiper blades. Placed noodle on slide out edges to save head aches. Used noodle to carry fishing rods to save breakage. I use a pool noodle to a boat stake out stick, in case I drop it, it will float. Almost as many uses as duck tape..........

I also forgot... We used them on the foot of our camp chairs, now my feet do not rest on metal.

More pool noodle hacks

Here are some more that may can help:

Wind blowing your napkins away. Cut noodles into rings. Then, use the ring as a napkin holder. You’ll never have to chase after paper napkins again.

I wrapped noodles around the round rungs on a loft ladder. Then I wrapped the noodles in duct tape. It's a huge relief on the feet. Thought I had a pic but couldnt find one.

That reminded me of another one I saw, where to use pool noodles on a ladder to keep the ladder from sliding and/or scratching a surface.

Also can use brightly colored pool noodles to help you see tent strings or awning tiedowns....so you don't trip over them.

I cut a small piece and wedge it in the microwave to keep the glass plate from bouncing around when out on the road.

The PO of my truck cut some noodle pieces about 12" long, and shoved them strategically on the underside of the pickup bed fenders to act as stiffeners between the fender sides and the body.

This came about because someone leaned on a fender once, and put a "soft" dent in the fender.

Same here, plus one on the lower horizontal edge of the slide to keep from cracking my head when I am in the lower compartment!

I put them along the bottom of my slides when extended. I makes up for the poor seals that don't even make contact underneath. Stops the cold drafts.

I cut short pieces to slide over the gutter downspouts to keep them from poking through the trailer cover during the winter.

I've used them stuck over the end of the rain spouts to re-direct the water away from the front storage door. Stops puddles from forming on the front of the trailer.
