No problem bud. You'll find a lot of these threads do not end up precisely on point. And thanks for the post Theo, although my wife is always complaining I spend too much time online.

My 2018 Cardinal 3825 FL came with a Dyson 8 and we like it
I did see that it cost about $300. It hangs in bedroom closet charging.

We have a Shark. Ours is corded, because we would probably kill the battery by not keeping it charged. However, my mom has an equivalent model she has mounted in a wall charger in her garage. Corded or not, the Shark is pretty good IMHO.

We wanted a cordless vacuum because at the farm where we store our trailer we've found the power isn't sufficient for our corded vacuum. So we decided to buy a Dyson cordless that was on sale. I despise that thing. It rarely works. I've checked to make sure it's not plugged and it's not. It doesn't seem to hold much charge. I've given up on it. So I can't recommend a Dyson. IMHO, they just aren't worth the high price. If your trailer has carpet, get a model that has a powered head.

At the house we have an early Dyson battery model.

The DW refers to it as the toy.

Not impressed. Picks up nothing very heavy. No leaves from the dog.

We have an old Shark we bought for the kids at college. Better by far, but corded.

X2 on the Shark. The kids left them behind and my wife has claimed one for the trailer and I have one in the garage for my vehicles. Probably over 10 yrs old but work well for small areas. So much easier than getting the shop vac out. I did have a small wall mounted battery powered vac that was handy for small jobs but it didn’t have a hose and it would never reach all the spots. The battery only lasted a few years but I am sure I didn’t have it charged often enough.

We have settled on a Shark cordless floor sweeper and a Dyson cordless car vacuum. I am crazy about clean surroundings in our MH.
I replaced our living room carpeting with LVP flooring last fall and I expect cleaning to be simpler.
