01 rockwood premier roof replacment

So we bought a 01 Rockwood Premire 2308. We bought it knowing of roof issues. I had to do a check of it by crawling under the bottom and thru the door without it being up. In the front Cargo area have a soft spot in the wood along with in the back driver side. We are talking a very small spot so I 'm not worried to fix it. The sides of the roof has a lot of rot and the door side has pulled away from the roof allowing it to drop. As a handy man wood worked I started looking into building a roof I have no issue building the roof frame and all. My big question is what to put back on it. I have seen a lot of people using flex rubber or Grizzely Grip. I have even thought of coating it all back in fiberglass. Looking for what others have done. The top layer of the roof will be 1/4 inch thick Louion board.
