12V Power Outlets

Is there a reason why my RV doesn't have any 12V power outlets anywhere?



Is there any rational reason why I shouldn't add a couple?

Cost is probably why there is any.

Not many things use that 12v connection anymore.

My rig doesn't have any either and I haven't had a need in 5 years for one.

Add as many as you'd like. Just be sure to wire and fuse them properly.

I'm going to add a few to our new one... as it also has none. Nice it has USB ports at a couple outlets, but that don't help when off grid.
