2002 Rockwood project

Hi, We bought this couple years ago and used it twice last year. We liked it so time to do some remodeling. We have a new vinyl top we bought from Canvas Replacements waiting to be installed. I'll lube all lift springs, cables, cable pulleys and whatever else. Looking into buying new lift cable from the crank up to the back.
The floor I used is 5/8" Adventech. Used Behr primer/sealer for underneath for more protection.
I'm building all new cabinets, doors, and putting luan plywood in it. Wife doing all the painting.
New plywood under the beds. Already bought 2 new memory foam mattresses. 1 with 6 " coils and 2" memory foam. The other one is 6" memory. I hope the 8" mattress will fit when I close it down.
Have to buy a new awning. Which is about $400.00. OUCH! Carefree awning in a bag.
New wheel bearing and races, electric brakes.
New vinyl sheet flooring.
New soft cooper tubing for the furnace. Taking out the other 2 hookups for the propane gas.
Any tips from anyone that has done this before would be appreciated.
Thank you

looks like you are throwing yourself wholehearted into the project and you will have a great camper when done.

We should. When I do something I do it right (or try). When we sell it in 3 or 4 years I can show the person that buys it all the pics of what we did. Should sell fast. I hope. lol
I like doing this type of stuff. Got the vinyl floor down today. Next working on some framing inside the walls and replacing the rotten studs.
The slide out will be a task. I'm replacing the floor on that also. Has mold and mildew under the factory vinyl. I'll take a pic of it before I replace it.
Hoping the weather is good next weekend.

Thank you...
