2004 Flagstaff Classic PUP Ceiling Light Switch

Hi all, new here. Thank you for letting me join. I have a 2004 Flagstaff Classic PUP. Ceiling lights and exhaust fan don't work. Does anyone know if there is a shutoff switch and where it is located?

Both of those run on the same switch- have you checked the circuit breaker? Do this happen on both shore power and 12v?

Happens on both, wont work with either power source. Everything else works. All fuses and breakers are good. Do you know if it is equipped with a safety switch?

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Tent Camper and Popup section since the OP has a popup, which differ quite a bit from other types of RVs.

There is a safety switch- usally to the left of your fold up kitchen. Putting the sink in place hits the switch. Try taking down the sink and putting it back up or looking near your sink foe the switch.

Yep, used to be a plunger switch that gets compressed when the sink cabinet is flipped up.
It's a safety feature so the ceiling lights don't come on while in the folded-up travel configuration and start a canvas fire.

The ceiling power is 12V supplied by wires that usually travel up the tent wall somewhere near the fuse/power distro area. Might be worth checking fuses.

Also, there might be a plunger switch in the roof line, that's what mine has and they are known to break. Check the whole roof line behind the valance.

Did you ever find a solution? I am having the same exact issue, but I was unable to find any kind of switch near the kitchen. My ceiling lights and ceiling fan are not working. I have checked all the fuses and they work. My neighbor switched one fuse and got it working until I put it down and popped it back up again.

The OP has only posted twice, the second one was over three weeks ago.
Suggest that you send them a PM to see if they are still active.
It also helps if you identify what year, make and model number your popup is. Or put that information in your profile or signature. That way others that own the same popup, can be more helpful.
