2012 FR Rockwood HW 276 Water System Question

Hi Everyone-
This is my 1st camper, and I am testing things out before it’s maiden voyage. In my Pop up there are 2 small plastic knobs coming out from below where the stove is, on the queen side of the camper. These leak every time I fill up the fresh water. I don’t know if they are somehow Overflow, or they need caps, I just don’t have a clue. Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks-
Jeremy

If they are underneath the camper, I SUSPECT they are low point drains. The easiest way to fix them is to insert a plastic valve, rather than using caps to close them off.

But without more information and photos, there is no way to be sure.

Pic of the water drains

These seem to only drip when the water pump is on.

Nevermind I am an idiot

These were connected to shut off valves in the cabinet directly above them of all places..... These were not clicked down, and now the problem is fixed.
Thank you to everyone to took the time to help out!

So now you know they are your low point drains.

I'll chime in and repeat. These are low point drains. When you winterize, you must use these to get the last bit of water out of your system...if you use air. They are also good to dump RV antifreeze from the system if you use that method to winterize.
As you've discovered, they are 1/4 turn ball valves. Always leave them open in the winter IF YOU WINTERIZE WITH COMPRESSED AIR.
