2014 Flagstaff mac 228 BH needs new roof

Hi all,

I am new here and looking for some guidance. My wife and I are thinking about purchasing a pop up from a friend. However, the pop up had a small tree fall on the top and it's cracked pretty good. He is willing to sell it to me for cheap. Other than the roof, it's in amazing condition, I would just need to replace the roof. Its this possible? Is it possible to buy an entire roof? lol I am a pretty handy contractor and mechanic, and think I could handle an install. I'm just curious of how I would go about finding a roof.

Others will chime in about the replacement roof and where to look for new and used, as well as the potential costs. I am curious what the seller is asking for the camper in it's condition. You should be especially wary of how long the camper has been outside with the potential of water damage inside from a cracked roof, even if some type of cover was in place. What may be a few problems today could turn into a can of worms later.

New roof from F.R. if you can get one for that aged camper expect $2000-$2500 including shipping which will be quite a bit.

I got a quote for my 2018 HW and it was the high end of that for the part only.
