2014 Freedom 1940 LED ceiling lights

Just brought home. Brochure says in back that this has 2 ceiling LED lights with jacks. Don't seem to be LED and they get hot. Anyone know? I guess I'll open th ed covers and investigate.

If they get hot then they aren't LEDs. LEDs are way more $ so I would definitely address the issue. Do they have jacks? Did they give you plug in lights as well?
It's a very easy swap and takes only a minute once the unit is up. Also saves your battery which is a good thing for you.

Yes, they have jacks. I know LED are more $$. That's why I was surprised that the dealer brochure said that. I have a bike led light that gets very hot, but it is very powerful. When I open it up this weekend I'll pop the covers offand check. Then I'll go from there.

1940 lights

ESDKeith, I also have a 1940 ltd 2012 popup with the same lights. I'd like to change those out for LED. Let me know what you find that fits.

Good deal, luckily it was dry last weekend when I took the pup out for the first time. The rains have commenced since then. I would also ask anybody out there for some good LED auxiliary plug-in lights to use from the supplied jacks. I took a look on those combo fan/light units and they run over $40 each- are these LED light equipped?. Just wondering if those fans would run with just 12V power?

Ok. Dealer says the lights were changed to led during the year. Mine are from before they went to them. I have to get the number now for the bulb for this fixture.

LED

Cool. I just saw one on Amazon for $7.95, reduced from $23.95! At that price I would get at least two. States it is the 921 base, #92111805 250 LUM 12/24 volt.
I am also ordering the Valterra drain connector for the sink drain outlet (outside). Probably go with the 5 gallon water tote as a collector and then dump that when it is full.

LED lights are superior to the stock factory ones! I will attempt to switch out the outside amber one next. I ordered one of those light/fan combo bunk lights that plug into the overhead light jack. Upon receipt I will seek to change that out to LED as well. Now I am on a roll, my duck boat lights will also be switched!
