Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Have you given thought to one of the stools/steps you see the diesel pushers use. Might be way cheaper and easier then adding steps.

Thanks for quick reply. Both of us have already had a couple spills exiting trailer at night. We currently use a plastic stool that folds down when not in use. Looking for safer solutions.
Was even looking at a longer/wider step like Colman makes on their units.
I was investigating that also. Banging head against wall trying to find a folding unit that would mount without having to add plates or something to the frame. Finally gave up and got this from Amazon. Only 14 inches high so fits right inside the door when traveling. Rated at 300 lbs. Wife loves it. Also added assist handle on outside of our 206LTD for her.
