2514G mattress

Hi everyone. I did some searching but I can't seem to find keywords very easily on here, so I apologize if this has been asked a million times.

I'm in the research stages of the process of replacing the mattresses in my 2009 Rockwood 2514G. Does anyone already know what height (4"? 5"?) and weight the mattresses can safely be?
I've read about the "Kleenex" box trick but quite frankly that is too scarily unscientific for my comfort level, especially when looking at hundreds of dollars in mattress oopsies if I'm wrong!

There is a local high density and/or memory foam mattress manufacturer I can get a custom size from, but I don't want to goof and get something too deep or too heavy.

Thanks for your help!

Mattress upgrade

I replaced the mattress in my 2017 1910 esp with this foam mattress

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005SF6RNG..._pzmtDbJ9ZVN46

The one that came with the camper is much lighter, but it hurt my hips and I never slept comfortably, even after adding the foam floor tiles underneath it.

The new mattress has just the right amount of thickness to keep you off the bed rails. Its designed to be used as a folding couch bed. I'm pretty happy with it, though it does make it a little harder to close the top. Also its two inches shorter than a standard queen mattress so I have a little gap between the tent side wall.

That price seems like a bargain and it's sold and shipped by Amazon, which usually means you can trust the product description.

Just remember a none rv king or california king mattress will be to big.

Our rv king matress is 70" x 80", size is closer to a queen, but 10" wider.

Assuming your floorplan matches this that I found for a 2009 2514G:

Your mattresses are a standard Queen and an RV King(70 x 80).

Personally I would be looking for an innerspring mattress, as I believe they would be more comfortable. They are probably more expensive and harder to find, though. Some info here:

Thanks that's a really succinct summary!
My kids are just toddlers and have little fold-up cots so my plan right now is to order a 2.5lb/inch high density foam slab from our local manufacturer and try that for us, while I use the queen bunk wing as a "floor" for their cots a la Pinterest (hopefully defeating the bumper car trampoline game they invented in the rental!). If we find the foam mattress to be wanting I can electric carving-knife the 10" off to make it the queen size for the kids, and source a proper mattress next year for us in the "king"
