AC DC

I’m new to pop up world.
I was told run dc power to fridge while driving then switch to AC when I set up and hook into RV park power. Is this correct?
Thank u

start with fridge on AC in the driveway if you can 24 hours before leaving... start filling fridge with cold stuff, and a couple of bottles of frozen water helps... when you pull out turn off fridge and it will stay plenty cold for about 2 days of traveling... DC may kill your battery depending on the actual fridge because DC is a power hog

If it's a 3 way fridge it would be better to run it on propane, but if it's just 12 volt or 120 volt then running it on DC power while towing is correct.

We could give better help if we knew the model number of the fridge.
