Adding a gray water tank to PUP?

Has anyone added and additional gray water tank to their popup? My 12 gal. just is not enough for use without sewer hookups. I haven't really looked underneath yet, just wanted to know if it can be done.
Thanks,

How about just getting a blue tote? Very likely a cheaper and easier solution. You can have tanks made in any size and configuration possible, but they are not inexpensive. Then you are looking at hanging and plumbing them which the nickels and dimes add up quickly. Biggest issue I can see with a PUP is your lift mechanism presenting obstacles.

Yep, we use a tote. Makes it easy to take to the dump station when we are camping long term as well. Just loop the tote handle over the hitch on the tow vehicle and drag it to the dump and drag it back....

Thanks for the input. I have considered the totes but just wanted to avoid carrying and dealing with another "accessory".

Hi Branch,

Just to clarify. You may not have a single 12 gallon grey tank but rather two 6 gallon grey tanks that are connected.

Installing a grey tank is very easy. I think your best bet would be to simply take out your fresh water tank and place a large grey tank there. You could even turn your fresh water tank into a grey tank if you want.

Your biggest problem is going to be finding a clear space under the floor to mount the tank. Crawl under there and you will see.

Vin.

I used to use a 15 liter pail i scavenged that had a lid. I cut an old washing machine hose to go from the outlet to the pail.
