Anybody know what this pole is for?
This came with my brand new HW296.
I had the sane pole in my 2010 296 as well and don't know what it's for anybody know?

If you have a slide out it may be a lock bar to keep the slide top from tilting when going around corners.
If you use it......put a sticky reminder on the panel so you do not attempt to deploy slide with it in place.

it is the hanger rod and it goes into the hanging wardrobe - . We never used it as we used all the shelves and had no need to hang anything.

Oh ok good ya I won't be using that either or the wardrobe bag I'll, post a pic of where they put in my New 2018 HW296, yours must be right in front of the front bed end right above the counter top?

Yes, that was where the hanging wardrobe went in our hw277. We also hung a second wardrobe in the bathroom as we used the bathroom as a closet. With four gals, we needed the closet space and did not wish to deal with the black tank. We liked our popup while we had it, but have moved on to a hybrid now.

Just curious but not planning on using the rod, but where does it goe in inside i see no place to attach it?

There should be two loops up at the top. They are in the top side seams.

Here is where I moved it to because my Wife and I use the the front bed end the back we put our suitcases.

That is the rod to hold a bench lid open while you get something out or put something in.
