Best bedding/comforter for popup

What is everyone using for bedding? My wife wants a comforter, but I can't find any that are even remotely as warm as a nice down sleeping bag.

Just tried a king sized sleeping back from overstock.com (it's actually the full size of a king bed, amazing). It was great, but so thick the roof wouldn't latch shut and so big folded up I can't fit it below the slide in bed.

Are there specific down comforters out there with higher fill power made for people sleeping at a cool 45 degrees instead of indoor 65 degrees?

We were having the same problem when we started with our new trailer. Put on memory foam and comforter and roof wouldn't close. Found that if we "unlock" the door from that stupid shelf the door would move enough to close roof. You will need to put some felt pads on the roof where the door handle will rub.

I use a down comforter bought at Costco. It folds into a small clear bag (the one it came in) and fluffs out nicely. It keeps us snug in 30 degree temps and not excessive in the summer. We've had for years. Liked it so much, I bought a smaller down throw for covering my lap in the evening....but then the Snuggie came along and I cozy down with that when reading my Nook prior to bed...DH uses the smaller lap blanket for himself when relaxing inside.
