Best place to buy replacement awning

I have a 2008 Flaggstaff HW29SC that appears to have a 16 foot awning that is dry-rotted and cracking. It appears to just slide in to the metal tube at the top of the awning and looks to be held in by 2 screws (one on each end).

Where would y'all suggest I get the whole thing replaced. It looks fairly easy to replace but I am a new Pop-Up owner and looking for advice.

there are two manufactures of popup awnings - carefree and dometic.
just goggle either carefree awnings or dometic awnings and the web sites should come up. I think you should be able to order directly from them.

I bought replacement awning from ppl motorhomes. Great customer service. Delivered right to my door. They were the cheapest I found, and I scour the internet.

You will want to have the make, model, and serial number to ensure you get the correct fabric. That info is on a tag located on the roller tube. You need to pull the awning all the way out to see it.

Replacing the awning is not real hard but remember that there is a very strong spring in there and that it will remove body parts very quickly if it gets away from you.

Go to RV Slide-Out Topper Awning Replacement Fabric Installation and review their web site. Their material is heavier than Carfree or Dometic. Look at the you tube video by rvgeeks to see how to replace an awning. Good luck.

This is good information. We learned this when we had to replace ours. Someone told us to go online you can get them at better prices and to look on the rail that holds the awning for the sticker with the necessary information. I now take pics of all sticker etc that may fade with age then I have records.

I put a Shade Maker on my Flagstaff HW14SC. Very well pleased with it. Support poles are much easier to adjust than other brands, but a bit more expensive.
