Black Tank Vent Hose issue on HW27KS

Hello, I've recently upgraded to a 2018 Flagstaff HW27KS. It's got a lot of little issues & I'm not impressed with the build quality at all.
One issue is the black tank vent hose, which runs from the potty up past the canvas out to a vent in the roof. The hose should be flexible and lay down when the roof is closed. However, the pipe/hose is not very flexible, has 2 kinks in it and does not let the roof close and seal properly. It has also pulled the strip of wood that attaches the canvas to the body out. Has any one had the same issue? I was hoping I could change it out for a smaller more flexible hose, anyone have any idea what I could use? I have attached a few pics so you can better understand what I am talking about.Click image for larger version

We have a HW296 and the hose is usually not on the bed when I close the roof. I have room along the foot/side of the bed for it to fold in half to close the roof.
