I find it easier to unzip about 2/3 rds the way up when putting it away......makes it easier to fold up the canvas so it lays nice when closing up.

The dealer said I didn't need to unzip the tenting also but I did unzip about half way and it seemed to fold up a lot better

Nope, never have and the dealer said it was not necessary. And honestly, have not had a problem. I do notice that those zippers come up from the bottom an inch or two, and I have to tighten them after raising the roof. So far, no problems.
Here's the written instructions they give to all their renters and they pass it out to those who purchase a trailer too...no mention of unzipping anything....

Yes, I guess they are actually called rafter poles, but they remind me of hockey sticks....(The puck was inadvertent, I just saw on TV where that hockey player got the puck stuck under his face shield....)

If I remember, I'll unzip first, then drop it so I can compare the experiences.

Ok hear it is,we r at our first camp site and the I pulled the bunks out till they stopped. The locks go right into place at the end of the rails. I looked for holes in the outer rail and didn't see anything,if there were holes I would have to push the bunk back in and the canvas would never get tight...thanks to everybody that helped out hear and I will post a pic of it tomorrow and by the way the Bal thing to level is easy and fast

U might want to put a piece of pool noodle on the rod of the bal level that way you might not get to hurt of your leg hits it. Btw looks nice

Thanks and that's a good ideal with the pool noodle. I tried to get it level backing it in so I had to use the bal level on the back side but that didn't work. It was easier then we thought to get it up....
