Buying parts from Forest River

I get all my parts (that I cannot source elsewhere), direct from FR and always have, with no issues whatsoever. I don't understand why you are having an issue, I never have. Having said that, if it's a Dometic part, I contact them, same applies to Suburban, or Lippert or whomever made the particular assembly.

Maybe it's your bedside manner on the phone or something because I've never had an issue at all.

If you are looking for a step, look at Brophy or Torklift. Both build quality steps for many RV applications.

Etrailer is another retailer that has these steps as well. We were considering this at one point but ended up not doing it.
