Camping goodies

Since this will be my first real season in a camper, I was unaware of some of the things you can get for your camper. Going to Camping World I quickly filled the cart with stuff. Here is some of the items I thought was or is needed to make camping easier.Click image for larger version

You have only scratched the surface my friend. After several orders from here, there, and everywhere we decided to take a break. It really starts adding up fast.

I'd have splurged for a progressive industries hardwired surge guard but your on the right track!
I'd also consider a digital volt/ohm meter. "You'll need it"

Do you have a Rhinoflex Sewer hose yet? If not this is a #1 item to get

A water pressure regulator? Again a must have

A Electrical management system? Ditto - and NOT having one could fry your rig -> Progressive Industries RV Surge and Electrical Protection industry lea

Amazon is your friend Amazon Prime is your BEST friend You can get all the goodies you got at CW for MUCH less via Amazon (CW is sorta overpriced )

x2 on the water pressure regulator hopefully one with a gauge. On my last trip I was rethinking that I should had brought the adjustable regulator when I saw the water pressure was in the red warning zone.

We bought just enough from Camping World to get on their mailing list and, now, when we find things we want in the CW catalog we go on Amazon and find it...usually 10-40% cheaper.

(Finding stuff the camper is a winter hobby while you're house-bound.....in the old, non-PC days, we called it going house queer.)

I see items on Amazon and Google it to check prices at other places. Amazon is definitely competitive on most items but not always the least expensive. Bought my Equalizer hitch at RVWholesalers.com, my Barker Tote at RVUpgrades.com and LED bulbs off eBay.

In years past I bought a fair amount off ebay.
I have been a little surprised this year as usually they are cheaper on amazon and the free freight in two days is awesome.

In fact, yesterday I was contemplating the recommended TST 507rv Tire Monitor System.....
$70 cheaper on amazon...........from the same vendor........What's up with that?
