How often do I need to apply waterproofing to canvas?

Not sure how they treat the newer canvas. On our old 87 Jayco popup, I use to treat it about every other year.

Never needed to waterproof the canvas on our two popups and our hybrid.
Maybe Seam Sealer on the threads.

Only water proofing you need to do is the seams. Open camper and hose the canvas down really well before taking it camping. Make sure the seams get really wet. That will water proof the canvas as it is really the stitching in the canvas that leak.
