Smile Clipper 107LS - Considering Larger Tires

Hi Everyone!
We currently have a 2018 Coachman Clipper 107LS pop up camper and it has the 12" wheels rims and radial tires (ST 145 R12) that only have about 250 miles on them. We would like to upgrade to aluminum 13 inch wheels and tires because we understand that the 13" wheels run cooler in the long run.

We're aware that we need to ensure that there is enough clearance but we are more concerned about whether the current axle can handle the 13 tires. When we talk to the dealer or the manufacturer they talk about voiding the warranty and or that we should only use the 12 tires because that's what the camper and axle is rated for. But if it is possible (and or advisable) we would still like to upgrade to the larger 13" wheels. We spoke with our mechanic who we trust and he didn't seem to think it would be a problem but he also suggested we contact this forum.

Has anyone upgraded their wheels for a Clipper 107LS and or would you recommend this change or not? As always, thank you so much!

Updated spec: the axle weight is rated at 1,576 pounds. Not clear whether that affects the ability to move from a 12" rim to a 13' rim. Any information is appreciated!
