I own a 2011 forest River mac. Fan on converter (WFCO model wf8735-PB) is not working. Will this prevent converter from working? Converter seems to heat up when plugged in to 30 amp. Do I need new converter?

The fan is thermostatically controlled when you first plug in shore power the fan will not normally run. There is an over temp shut down on the converter that can shut down the converter. If the fan is truly not working the unit will run until it gets hot and then shut down.
