First weekend success

My son and I just returned from our first weekend camping in our new Rockwood 2318G pop up.
Everything went smoothly, had a great time and we really like the camper! Made a list of stuff we forgot to bring, but all in all it was a successful maiden voyage!

Congrats. The first one always sets a tone for the next. Glad it was a good time. We always make a list too but seems like we forget something.

congrats on your 1st trip. We have the same camper, and love it. Just finished our 3rd year of camping with it. Kind a sad having to close it up for the season.

Great to hear! So glad your enjoying your new camper. Nice to hear from others that are not having horrid difficulties with their FR products. Cheers! and many more great camping memories for you and yours.

2nd trip was even better! Three nights, fishing, biking, hiking and the camper was flawless. Glad it has a heater.

That's great. We have one more weekend. Last weekend in October. Going to Indian Point COE and Silver Dollar City.

We keep a spiral notebook with us while camping. We always asked the 3 boys what they liked most about the trip and journaled it. Also write as soon as it happens, what we will need. Then that notebook hangs in our laundry room by the garage door. When we are ready for the next trip, we pull it down, plan our menus in it, and highlight each of those items as we pack them (that were on the list from the last trip) My boys are now 20-28, but they love reading about the trips when they were little. Thought you might like the idea. Glad you love your new camper.

3rd weekend trip better than the first two! We just got back from a nice stay at our local state park! Thinking about winterizing this week, and perhaps still get in another weekend or two? Loving this outdoor time with my boy and this camper!
