Flagstaff MAC 176 stdltd trouble

New owner of a used, new to me- popup- as of yesterday!

My first question (of what im sure will be many) is my dealer didnt have a clue yesterday during walk thru and pickup, if this pop up was capable of manual lifting. Unreal! We got the roof to raise with the electric winch just fine. But i asked if it could be raised by hand. He didnt know! Anyway, if anyone knows id be obliged to find out how.

Thanks!

You list a 2015 in your sig, so if that's what you have, you have a Carefree of Colorado lift winch. On that model the back-up crank hatch is on the side of the winch cover. It takes a 3/4" socket, or stabilizer jack crank handle to fit the 'nut' in there. A cordless drill and socket is much better than trying to use a hand crank.
