Front wall of HW27SC pulling apart AGAIN

My 2008 hw27sc front end seperated in June of 2008, less than a year after we got it while we were on a trip. All of the staples pulled out and we dropped about 6 inches with a thud. We were nowhere near a dealer when it happened so I took it apart and ran screws down through the top of the frame to put it back together. It has now seperated again but this time it has pulled the entire front of the camper down with it.

In my opinion this is a design flaw with the bunk supports. Although the supports are much easier to install than the single peice supports that were on my old Jayco pop up, they put the support stress on the top of the camper wall instead of the frame where it belongs. Essentially everytime you use your bunk end you are forcing the front and back end of your camper down and away from the box.

FYI, my wife and I together weigh about 400lbs. Well within the 500lb limit that Firest river puts on their bunk ends.

I have to figure out another way to put it back together since the force has now pulled the entire front of the camper away from the box instead of just the top rail that I previously reinforced. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Wow - got a picture of that? Your description is a good one but a pic of the damage would help those who do not have your High Wall popup.
