Gaucho instructions for FS 2009 625D

I have a new-to-me 2009 Flagstaff Classic D popup, and for the life of me, I have not yet figured out how to fold the gaucho into the stowed position. In its sofa configuration, of course, it's too high for the rear bunk slide to close; in its bed position, it's low enough, but then the dining area slide-out won't close.

Does anyone know where I can get a description or even view a video on the process? Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the gaucho/bench seat but I remember the back cushion was only held up with a flip down wood support on a hinge. So just fold the wood support down and stow away the cushion.

If your talking about a true sofa, like my jack knife sofa. Leave it in the sitting position as the sofa back has a pull strap that folds the sofa back on top of the sofa seat for closing.

Sounds like mine has the Jack-knife setup. I found the strap on the backrest, but if it's supposed to move (or unlatch) some mechanism, that must be the problem. I pull it firmly, but it doesn't move anything. Must be frozen in place. Thanks for your reply.

Yeh, should unlatch and fold over. Sounds like latch isn't working.

Good luck

Gaucho instructions for FS 2009 625D

We had bought a used, older 625D, and folding the couch had us stymied too. Feeling around for a catch, I found it in the crack between the back and the seat portions. Reach in and you’ll feel a ring in there on each end. Pull the rings towards the center of the couch, and the back will fold towards you. Once it is flat, fold the sink/stove module to the floor and the rear slide can come in. I hope you’re tall. I’m 6’ 2”, and I was able to just reach both latches by myself.
