Here's my two cents on HW 276 grey water dilemma. I took the hose rinser, drilled a 2 1/8 inch hole, largest bit I had, thru it,used Rotary hasp in my cordless drill to enlarge hole to accept the 1 1/2 inch PVC adapter

Sorry for the premature post, I then epoxied the two together, haven't tried it yet, but see no reason it won't work, this way I just switch the slinky from black to grey, and no waiting for the garden hose to take forever to drain. I don't understand how Forest River could do so many things right, and be so wrong on this issue

GB guy I was looking at doing that setup but was afraid the epoxy wouldnt hold but let me know if it does. Why didnt the just tie both grey n black together like most TT. or even install a tank rainser in the blk. Wish I was going to goshen

I like this option as I can simply unscrew it and store it away. It also makes switching from black to grey very easy and I can flush the hose clean grey.

Yes vin it should all go together and pvc glue it. Just make sure you get the 1 1/2 " CLEAN OUT I guess it was wrong on the orig list. Just see pic in previous comments.

Yeah. I know that I need the threaded end for my discharge pipe and a smooth end to glue into the 3" reducer.
I'll put the thing together in the store isle to make sure it all fits nice. Just wanted to make sure that the outside diameter of the Valterra will fit the inside diameter of the 3" reducer.

That was the biggest mystery for me, whether or not the Valterra termination fitting will fit into the 3" increaser/reducer. It fit like a glove.
I already had a rinse out end cap and am using this as the cap for the new fitting. I can find a pic of it later if you need a reference, but any cap should do (think the cap you already have for your black gate)

Fish,
I looked at the link on the 1 1/2 inch clean out and it does not look like it would fit into the coupler end. They both look like they are 1 1/2 in. I need one to be inside dia and one outside dia.
I am going to order the Valterra piece now on Amazon. Just need to get the other two at loews.
Kinma. Did you ever get yours built?
Vin.

I like just being able to empty the black then just hook the stinky up. And that way the hose gets cleaned out to. I then finish cleaning the hose with a hose rinse end that way it all stays clean.

I agree. So many advantages to be able to do it this way. I do not mind unhooking from the black and then hooking up the grey. It is not a big deal to me. I know others want a single discharge but this is fine by me. The less I have to hack up the original parts the better.

Heya Vin
Yep, used it all last season with no problems. I keep it attached to the camper, no need to take it off.
