I've watched this thread since I became a member because the set up on my HW296 is a pain to deal with 2 separate outlets. I was looking at buying the Volterra T18 as someone suggested earlier. On amazon for one of the Volterra waste valves they have a video explaining the products they offer and how to use/maintain them. I noticed in a section of the video they said something about collector fittings. I did a search and came up with the Volterra T1010. It's the exact same fitting as the T18 but doesn't have the valves which already come with the camper and it's only $17 and change vs +$40 for the T18. Only thing left to buy is a few feet of 1 1/2" abs, 2 couplers, and a 90 elbow and it'll be just like it should be. I just purchased it on amazon. Should have it Monday. I will post pictures of the process when I install. Just thought a little money could be saved. Now the whole project should be less than $30.

I'm with you on this. I went with the T18 option. One hook-up and two valves. Works great

I went the distance and created this masterpiece- tied my grey water tanks together. Single dump valve for all. Magic.

I used my adapter last week and works like a charm. No cutting, no swapping/installing valves or pvc......drain black, switch hose , drain grey......perfect.

I combined the gray and black water outlet the other day. It's hard to see in the photo. I'll take a better one tonight. I bought a t-valve setup on eBay. It was about $35. Then bought one 1.5" coupler one 1.5" 45 degree angle and 5' of 1.5" abs pipe. All available at most Lowes. The t-valve has the same bolt pattern as the black water valve for the factory. So I just unbolted the factory valve and bolder this one in its place. ThenI cut the gray water pipe about 3 inches past the bracket holding it up. I assembled an new piece of 1.5" abs to the original pipe with a 45 and ran the pipe into the new t. Not there is only one 3" outlet so I can flush my hose with gray water after the black water is done. The whole mod cost about $60 and was done in less then an hour. I did have to relocate the stabilizing jack forward about 18" but that wasn't a big deal.

Wygantmb is that on a hw pup? I'd be concerned with ground clearance?

It's a HW TH. It's still the factory height on the valve. The factory height is low to begin with. In the picture the pup is in my drive way which has a pretty good slope. The front of the trailer is on 10" of wood and jacked all the way up. It still doesn't sit level.

Wygantmb, Did you relocate your sewer hose storage tube? If so, how did you reattach it and where?

I moved my storage tube in front of the wheels. One end bolts to the frame just aft of the entry stairs and I had to fabricate a bracket that bolted to the floor on the drivers side and hung down to the same height as the bottom of the frame. Sorry no pictures as the trailer is in storage at the moment.

Final set up on the HW27KS for now. Seems to work fine. Grey stays open while camping, the black closed until ready to dump.

Spurticus I have a similar setup when camping for a week or so. But for weekends I just use 1 stinky slinky and just switch after the black is empty. I use a a clear elbow between the pup connection and the ss. The clear elbow is a hydro flush so I can clean the ss b4 I disconnect to switch.
