Had a Rockwood Tent

Boy I'm glad I traded for a 5th wheel!! It was a good trailer to pull with a small vehicle and was nice to get up into tight areas where the 5th wheel just can't go - but setting up was NO FUN!!

I hear ya. I had a Palomino pop up. I really liked the thing...but there was a lot of setup/takedown chores. Sure was nice and compact though. I still miss having that thing. Maybe I can buy another one and use it as my GUEST HOUSE at the seasonal spot...

We were the proud owners of a Rockwood 1910 for over 9 years and loved every minute of it. But as we started to do more and more travelling the setup and tear down started to take it's toll on me, especially in wet weather. I do miss the fuel economy pulling a pop up and winter storage was a lot cheaper. A pop up is certainly a great starter if your new to camping and gives you an opportunity to get started at a reasonable price. We finally decided that we would enjoy camping a lot more with a TT and moved up to a Rockwood 2304, granted it's not a big trailer but it suits us just fine.
