Have had our 2018 206LTD for just over a week now. Total towed distance 6.7 miles from dealer to home. Went out Saturday to adjust the power lift system. (Evidently dealers idea of adjustment was to rip the indicator cord out of the top while lifting, then remount where it looked good. Lifting so high could barely get door halves to latch together).
Put my hand on the propane tank to steady myself while using the lift. Tank rocks backwards against unit. HUH?? 2 self tapping screws are used to mount tank holder to camper frame. Front one sheared off cleanly. Great. Up to hardware store and get a couple grade 8 flange bolts and nuts. Back home. Put ratchet on second self tapping screw and the head of it pops off too. Drill holes out slightly and install the new bolts. Tank not going anywhere soon.
What ever happened to the idea of using torque wrenches to tighten stuff properly rather than ramming them in place with impact drivers?? Hope my dealer installed air conditioner doesn't go flying off the camper when I head down the road.
As to the lift cord 'limiter', ours was so tight it kept pulling off the bottom (in order to get it high enough to insert door). Finally left it hanging.
