Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Many folks have added hitches to their bumpers with good and bad results. One of the real problems is the bikes shaking back and forth twisting the bumper not the weight. Some people add a strap that goes from the trailer wall around the bikes to stop this shaking. Folks also add a product to the bumper that reinforces it to limit the twisting and braking. I just realized you have a HW so the strap feature may be different.

welcome. a ton of threads on this topic. Id be more worried about your bumper falling off if not braced correctly then weight distribution.

Anything on the back bumper adds lots of torque which can either cause the bumper to fail or bend the frame. The smaller lite weight trailers are much more susceptible. As you consider responses, be sure to take into consideration the type of RV the responding member. As mentioned there are some members who have had good results and some who have had poor results. If you do add a bike rack, be sure to have someone tow the PUP around with a bike on the rack and follow it. Then determine if you want your bike on it.
