HW276 drawer slides keep breaking
Hi everyone!
We bought a 2013 HW276 last May and by the end of June the plastic clips that hold the back of the drawer slides cracked in half and fell off. I called FR warranty and was told that this was a known issue due to the plastic becoming fragile due to heat. I had a new set sent out and installed those in July. We took a few more trips with no issues but had the PUP in storage from the end of August until yesterday. I set it up today and both drawers are hanging down into the storage compartment and the plastic clips are broken again.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don't think our drawers are loaded too heavily. One has some silverware and the other had a MagLight (3D) and a few small things.
If you've gone through this, have you found a solution? I'm thinking of just building out the sides so that the drawer slides will mount on the side instead of the back.
