HW276 Full Size Door Attachment Help

Recently purchased a 2013 HW276 Pop Up and realized the attachment pieces of the top of the door to the inside of the roof are missing. See photo of the metal storage plate inside the camper.
Does anyone have photos of this area on their HW276??
Have some ideas on how to attach the door to the roof but would like to see how it came stock.
Thanks in advance!!Click image for larger version

Stock used 4 size 5/8” length #8 self tapping screws. My bet it never withstood the journey from factory to dealer and screws pull out. I drilled each hole, installed machine screw with washer from outside and lock washer and nut against the ell plate on the inside. Problem apparently solved.

So you then have to remove the 4 nuts/washers each time you install the door during set up?
Do you happen to have a photo of this modification(Im a visual guy...lol)

Im ok with keeping the door to the roof during transport but my problem is mounting the top of the door to the roof when I install the door during set up. I might not have explained my issue very well.

So it looks like you are missing the twist lock to keep the door in that plate. Big problem maybe be that you can’t get separate from the door. I would find a small wood clamp to hold the stud when in the holder.

FYI- we ripped that bracket out of the wall when trying to lock the roof down after we put a 4” mattress topper on the beds. The solution was to not lock the door in that bracket when closing up and let it move free.

They have these twist locks to secure the top of the door to the roof. I think that is what you are asking about.Click image for larger version

Nah, you open the butterfly nut, lift and swing the door clear and lower to the floor. The front bunk must be out for room to work. The front bunk cannot support the door while setting up. The shelf bracket supports most the weight underway. Sorry my unit is stored in a garage and cannot be setup.

Thank you!!! That's what I needed to see. I was wondering whether the clips go over the top of the silver bracket(mounted in the door) or whether they fit through the slots in the metal bracket.
Thank you for the photos!!

Thanks for everyones help on this.
I think Im going to install a couple of these to bind the top section of the door when I go to install it during setup. Figure with a 4 screw mount, they will be less likely to pull out and its adjustable, allowing the door to be held firmly in place, plus it will be easy to bind and release.
Will try to share some photos after install later.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5da5e34e...0Shopping.jpg?
