HW277 faucet stem replace

Hi all. Anyone know what stem would replace the one on a ‘20 hw277. Our hot side won’t cut off at all.

Thanks

I ended up replacing the whole thing when I had a leak at the hot post running on to the counter. I replaced both the valve O rings with like size but no good :/

Below is what I got from Lowes.

I will say the only way I was able to use the veg sprayer because of the fact that the bunk stopped short of the sink and didn't go over it otherwise it would break it even if I pulled it out and left handle in the sink.

The only other difference is when I unscrew the faucet there is a small white washer in the hole that could come out. I push a piece of paper tower in the hole to keep it in place during travel. Its basically a screen. I works find without but I will keep it as long as I can.

Thanks. I found a replacement stem that looks like it is the same on Amazon. Going to try that first for $9. If that doesn’t work I’ll replace the whole thing.

If by Stem you mean the water neck/spout I can just send you my old one if the amazon one doesnt work out lol. Was just holding on to it to make sure the new one works which would have been sooner but DW just got a new job so were not going till next month for a just a few days now.

The stem being the plastic piece under the handles that turn to open/close water.

This is what I’ve ordered.

Not sure. I was given the part number from someone else. Guess I’ll find out.

My replacement.

The original is not worth saving. The lever handles are a vast improvement over the factory knobs (if that's what yours came with).

The neck on this one is removable.

Curious if that one is chrome/foil coated plastic or solid metal through and through? The Lowes one is very heavy, even the fittings to attach the plumbing underneath are metal.

I was looking at replacing my one with this, but I see it didn't get great reviews on Amazon, I read thru a few and several people commented that it leaks/pops off. How long have you had yours installed, do you hook up to city water or mostly use your on board tank? I really like the look and there were many people who said it worked great for them.

Scroll way down or search for "High Wall Faucet"
