HW277 - Television

DO most with a pop up secure a television inside and take it out and place it on a counter to watch it?
I know a lot of you guys will probably say don't take it but we want to have one for night or rain etc...
Creature comfort that we enjoy

we did when we had our HW277. turned out we so rarely used it, that we quit taking it as it was in the way most of the time. and the low cargo capacity of the HW277 meant everything had to have a need. rainy days = puzzles, books, and majongg.

Any chance you could secure it in your TV (tow vehicle), so it's not under foot in the PUP?

We did when we had a popup. Back then it was one of those little 13" tv/vcr combo deals.

LOL. We are dating ourselves. That is exactly what came to mind when I read the OP's post.

I am sure we could.
The new 32" from walmart are $120ish?
They weigh next to nothing.

I have a 24" LCD and wrap it up in an old blanket and stuff it under the dinette table for storage, same with the Blu-ray Player. When I camp alone, I like to relax and watch a movie that I don't get to do during the Hectic work week. My daughter and wife also like to watch a movie before going to bed after the fire is put out.

I have a TV cabinet with a coaxial connector but never used it. We either have Blu-ray discs or Stream movies from my phone to a Roku Stick using Mirror cast. I have an unlimited plan of 100GB before throttling so I never have to worry from the few movies we watch.

The HW276 has a passenger side front of the camper compartment with a large swing up door on the outside that is accessible from the inside by a large cabinet door.

I have a TV I use in my home gym that I can just pick up and put in the camper with its stand base. I put it in that compartment in a custom made 3/16" wood "box" wrapped in a harbor freight movers blanket.

That way I can load it from the outside without opening and its under "lock and key" and get to it from the inside if we want to use it.

I bought a $125 Vizio smart TV that was I believe 25-27 inches. I would be more angry about damage to my camper to steal it than its loss given that low cost. I still wouldn't be happy about it but that is the most valuable thing in the camper so....
