There are people on this message board who are overweight, know it and just don't care. Their rationale is that they've never had an accident so it's ok. The only thing the rest of us can do is avoid these people on the road and hope we aren't nearby if or when they crash.

We have one of the goofy 2009f150s with the stupid low cargo capacity stickers of around 1000 lbs. same truck (verified by parts) in 2010 gets almost 600 lbs more capacity. My trailer comes in at 500 lbs on the tongue, 500 lbs people, dog, and gear. So technically Im at capacity. The truck barely feels the weight of 4500 lbs behind it. I go by the 2010 specs.
